Hi There Everyone! My name is Najwa, a New York City Native, and an artist who just aims to be. Not wanting to be defined, I create for the love of creating and for the love of sharing my work, thoughts, stories, and more with other people.

As a small business owner transparency and sustainability are important to me. Honesty is my policy and so I will always be honest about my glows and my woes, to keep you in the know! I aim to make quality products that will wow and delight and so if there is a problem just let me know and we can work it out.

To that end, everything on my website is handmade from start to finish: my earrings are made from scratch using corn starch, glue, vinegar, and olive oil, and is cooked on the stove; my book Apple’s Bananas and Neurons is made as well by from start to finish as are my stickers and art prints! Nothing I do on my website is outsourced, except for my business cards—full disclosure.

Life is hard out here and so with everything I make I hope to bring a little joy, laughter, and hope to the muddiness life sometimes brings. Past the mud, and the darkness, sunshine is hiding behind every murky cloud. With my art I hope to remind us to take a moment out of our busy lives to find the beauty just beyond the pain, and the joy latent in our hearts.

So join me as I share my plight and delight as we learn how to do this thing with all my might!
